Young Adults’ Weekend

This event is for anyone interested in ecumenism, solidarity within the human family and sharing our stories. It will be of particular interest for those who have been to Taize over the year or taken part in the Taizé European meeting in Tallinn, Estonia, over New Year. There will be prayers with songs from Taizé, a chance to walk up Whalley Nab, good food and board games. On Sunday we’ll take part in worship in a parish and afterwards hear about examples where faith is lived out in action through helping those in need.

Anna and Andy Walker are part of the management team at Whalley Abbey and were formed through wonderful weekend meetings just like this one when they were young.
